So after our leisurely breakfast, we began the wine tasting! 10 euros bought us a souvenir wine glass and a punch card for 8 tastings. There were too many booths and too many Chianti Classicos to count...Here are my roommates enjoying their first glass of vino and some shelter from the rain:
After 3 or 4 tastings, we went to find lunch at a recommended place. We had porchetta paninos...stuffed with herbs and roasted to perfection. It went great with our wine!
We had some really amazing wines. One of my favorites was a Vin Santo that was so sweet...it tasted like burnt caramel...Overall, an amazing day despite the rain. Hopefully we will have enough energy to go salsa dancing tonight!
