Volterra
Yesterday, We began our Tuscan Field Trip with Volterra...a beautiful city famous for it's Alabaster. We visited The Museo Pinacoteco to see Rosso Fiorentino's Deposizione. It was so beautiful. I want to go back so I can have more time to sketch it....Domenic was a great museum tour guide!
Next we went to the Museo Etrusco. I really liked the Ombra della Sera statue...and the beautiful views!
...And of course, I concluded my visit with some gelato! (Panna cotta e Banana!)
